Prologue The stream bubbled up, its murky water turning red with blood. The moonlight caught the waves as it danced downstream. The river was headed for jagged rocks where the current was too strong to swim in. Once at the rocks the river steeply dropped. No creature could survive the fall...At least that's what most thought.
